Section 1
Overview
Talkturo ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal data when you use our services. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.
Section 2
Data collection
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, company data), automatically collected data (IP address, device information, usage patterns), call data and recordings according to your settings, and payment information for billing purposes.
Section 3
Use of data
We use your data to provide and improve our services, communicate with you, personalize your experience, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud and ensure security, and for analytics and product development.
Section 4
Sharing of data
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us deliver our services, when legally required, with your explicit consent, or in the context of business transfers. All third parties are contractually bound to our data protection standards.
Section 5
Data security
We implement industry-standard security measures including end-to-end encryption, SOC 2 Type II certification, regular security audits and access controls.
Section 6
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions, reach measurement, marketing and personalization. Non-essential services are only loaded after your consent via our consent banner (Cookiebot). You can withdraw consent at any time in the cookie settings. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; transfers to the US are based on Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We use the following services:
Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S, Denmark)

We retain your data as long as necessary to provide our services. Upon termination of your account, we delete your data within 90 days, unless legal retention obligations apply.
Section 9
Third-party links
Our services may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.
Section 10
Email marketing
When you register for an account, download a whitepaper, attend a webinar, book an appointment or otherwise provide your email address, we process your contact details to send you product information, offers, tips and news about Talkturo by email. For this we use email marketing and CRM systems (including ActiveCampaign, ActiveCampaign LLC, USA), which store your contact details and analyse open and click behaviour so we can make content more relevant. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or, for existing customer relationships, our legitimate interest in direct marketing (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, Sec. 7(3) UWG). You can object at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to info@talkturo.com. After an objection we store your email address on a suppression list to prevent further messages.
Section 11
Test calls and callbacks
When you test our AI phone employees (e.g. via the test call feature on our website or by calling one of our demo numbers), we process your phone number, the details you enter in the form and the content of the conversation. The call is handled by our AI; this may create transcripts and — where indicated and consented to — audio recordings, which we use to deliver the demo, for quality assurance and to improve our systems. If you leave contact details (name, email, phone number, company), we use them to call you back about your test call or contact you by email to present our offering. The legal basis is your consent and the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). You can object to being contacted at any time at info@talkturo.com.
